Prince George Fire and Rescue responded to a call about a structure fire located in the 8000-block of Haldi Road at just after 7 p.m. on December 10.
Sixteen crew from three fire halls arrive on the scene to a kitchen fire. Smoke was seen billowing from windows on the main floor.
Crews first saw to the occupants’ safety and subsequently contained the fire to the room. Damage to the home is estimated to be $20,000.
There were no injuries reported to occupants or fire personnel. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
