Coastal GasLink and prime contractors raise $123,800 for United Way of Northern B.C.

United Way of Northern BC has announce the results of this year’s Coastal GasLink Legacy of Giving campaign.

Through the generosity of Coastal GasLink and their prime contractors Surerus Murphy Joint Venture, AECON, SA Energy, Nadleh Macro, Michels, O J Pipelines, Macro Spiecapag Join t Venture, and Ledcor Haisla more than $123,800 has been raised for the United Way of Northern BC to support critical social service programming

The partnership with Coastal GasLink supports the United Way of Northern BC’s mission to connect resources with local needs throughout Northern British Columbia. The Coastal GasLink Legacy Fund aims to remove barriers by providing funding to recipients to address socioeconomic issues facing their local community. Last year s funding from this campaign supported 10 non-profit organizations, substantially improving the lives of thousa nds of individuals living in the region

“At UWNBC we value our relationships above all else, and we are so grateful for the one we have built with Coastal GasLink,” said Trista Spencer, executive director, United Way of Northern BC. “By working together, we have been able to put over $220,000 back into communities across Northern BC in just two years. Through the incredible generosity of Coastal GasLink and their prime contractors, we continue to bring resources into the region that otherwise would not be there.”
