Police seek witnesses to hit and run

Prince George RCMP is looking for witnesses to a Novewmber 1 hit and run that occurred at approximately 5 p.m. on the Highway 97N off-ramp from the Simon Fraser Bridge, heading towards Queensway. The victim in the hit-and-run suffered minor injury as a result of the collision and did not see the vehicle that rear-ended her before it left the area.

“Investigators are reaching out to the public to see if anyone witnessed the collision or has dash-cam footage of the incident to help identify the second vehicle and driver,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP. “The victim’s vehicle is a red 2018 Ford Escape. If anyone has any information we are asking that they contact the non-emergency line by calling 250-561-3300 to speak with police. Please quote file number 2022-39720.”
