Cougars acquire forward Cole Dubinsky

The Prince George Cougars have acquired forward Cole Dubinsky (02) from the Regina Pats in exchange for forward Zackary Shantz (05) and a 2023 third round pick in the WHL Prospect’s Draft.

Dubinsky, 19 (turns 20 in December), was drafted by the Pats in the fourth round, 79th overall, in the 2017 WHL Prospects Draft . The product of Ardrossan, AB had 7 points (2G-5A) with Regina this season. Last season, Dubinsky had 20 goals and 29 assists in 61 games. The 5’11” forward has over 200 games played in the Western Hockey League (203).

Dubinsky will wear number 18 and will be joining the Cougars on their current road trip.

The Cougars are back in action tonight against the Spokane Chiefs at 7:05 PM at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. You can catch all the action on 94.3 The Goat and WHL Live. The pre-game show kicks off at 6:45 with play by play just after 7 p.m.
