The Friends of the Prince George Public Library are local volunteers dedicated to supporting the programs and services of the Prince George Public Library.
“We believe that developing libraries is a crucial part of developing communities, and so we support the Prince George Public Library’s success by promoting the library and raising necessary funds for special library projects,” said Johnston.
Since its incorporation in 1990, the Friends of the Library have raised over $440,000 with fundraising initiatives like Book Sales, memberships and merchandise sales (mugs and bookbags), and 50/50 draws.
“The Friends of the Prince George Public Library have supported, promoted and advocated for the Prince George Public Library for over 30 years. Our friendship has been built on respect and trust and we intend to support, promote and advocate for the library in the years ahead,” said Johnston.
