Arrest for break and enter made in College Heights

A break-and-enter suspect was nabbed in College Heights on Sunday.

Just before 7 a.m., Prince George RCMP responded to an alarm at a retail business on the 5200-block of Domano Boulevard. When officers arrived at the location, they saw a broken window and signs of a disturbance inside the building.

“Frontline police officers were joined by Police Service Dog Natz, who successfully located a suspect hiding in the bushes a short distance away,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
“The suspect is known to police. The suspect was arrested for break-and-enter and was released on an undertaking with a future court date. Our quick police response and coordinated, multi-unit effort enabled us to locate a suspect in this incident less than 40 minutes after receiving the initial report.”
