Prince George RCMP Municipal Traffic Services unit is currently at Old Cariboo Highway and Cariboo Highway with a two-vehicle collision that has closed the highway northbound.
“Investigators state the Old Cariboo Highway has been closed northbound and is being rerouted along Cariboo Highway. Southbound traffic is being let through in a single lane. Traffic will remain slowed for several hours as emergency crews work to remove the tanker truck from the ditch,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
Neither driver suffered serious injury in this incident. Police ask drivers to check DriveBC for further updates.
