Uride plans to launch ride-share service in Prince George in October

Following successful launches in Kelowna and Kamloops, Canadian ridesharing company Uride is ready to continue its expansion across British Columbia.

Uride plans on entering the northern B.C. market and will look to launch Prince George in October. The Canadian ride-sharing company started recruiting drivers earlier this year.

“The feedback we’ve received from the people in Prince George is that reliable transportation is hard to come by,” said Ravi Dhami, Uride’s Regional Operations Manager for Western Canada. “We plan on coming in and addressing that need and ensuring that everyone has access to safe, reliable and affordable transportation. Prince George will be our third city launch in B.C. and our whole team is excited at the prospect of having a positive impact on the entire community”

Residents in Prince George can already download Uride on the App Store and Google Play Store to stay tuned for their launch promotions, which will include a variety of discounts for those looking to use their service.
