Art exhibition: House and Home featuring local artists guild

Visit Studio 2880 for the Prince George Woodturners Guild House and Home feature gallery exhibit.  Find stunning wood statement pieces, discover interesting woodturning techniques, and share in their love of unique woods and quality craftsmanship.   Meet our local artisans on opening night to ask about the guild, woodturning as a craft and artform, or find out more information about specific pieces.

This feature gallery exhibit also offers a wide variety of locally handcrafted home décor and kitchenware staged in home and house vignettes.  Take home the ever-popular French-style rolling pins, cutting boards, bowls, specialty items with delicate wood inlays, and live-edge pieces.

The PG Woodturners have recently returned to their original home at Studio 2880 and guild meetings are monthly for turning demos on the lathe, safety check-ins, updates on the guild and a wood raffle for all members.

Guild members take time and care to select unique and quality pieces of wood for their craft. Be sure to come to this exhibit early on so you don’t miss out on getting your favourite pieces.

After opening night, woodturning items will continue to be displayed and available for purchase at Studio 2880, 2880 15th Ave, Prince George.

Opening Show:  August 11, 5-7 p.m. Regular Gallery Hours: Tuesday to Thursday 11a.m. – 5 p.m.
