Local businesses give back to charity with every ride they take

Uride will be donating 50 per cent of profits on all corporate rides for the month of July to local charities and Not-For-Profit organizations.

Canadian rideshare company Uride recently launched “Uride for Business”, which focuses on providing reliable transportation for businesses and organizations.

”We’re huge fans of good deeds and giving back to the community. There’s a lot of incredible Charities and Not-For-Profit organizations doing great work. We’re excited to bring an easy way for businesses to give back, and we hope it inspires others to find ways to get involved in their community. Just by booking rides, businesses will be making a difference”, said Cody Ruberto, Founder of Uride.

Uride was originally created with the mission of ending impaired driving in smaller cities and towns. It now operates 24/7 in 10 Canadian cities. Passengers can book rides through the Uride app, and have the ability to watch the driver on a map as she/he drives to their location. The majority of rides cost 15%-30% less than alternatives, and Uride has average pickup times under 10 minutes.
