Commonwealth Cup ready to tee off

Who will hoist the Cup at the 13th annual Commonwealth Cup golf tournament?

Former Vancouver Canuck and Honourary Chair of the tournament, Dennis Kearns says, “the other Canuck alumni in Prince George for the Cup are fierce competitors, and will play to win!” Register your four-some at the Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond level, and you will get a spot at the VIP Lake Blues party. There you’ll meet all the VIPs and place your bids to have a Canuck alumnus play on your team for the day.

Of course, the real winner of the tournament is the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society. All money raised will help implement the new Hospice at Home program this fall, which will allow people to die at home if they choose.

Donna Flood, Executive Director of PGHPCS, says “There is still time to register your foursome, and have a Canuck play golf with you! It’s going to be a fun event and you don’t want to miss out.” Prize table valued at over thirty-five thousand dollars.
