UPDATE: Joseph has been found and is safe.
Prince George RCMP is requesting the public’s help in locating a missing youth whom family has not seen since June 16, 2022.
Prince George RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating 17-year-old Heather Joseph. Family last saw Heather just after 8 a.m. on June 16 and she has not been seen or heard from since. Her family is very concerned for her well-being.
Heather Joseph is described as:
- Indigenous female
- 165 cm (5’5)
- 64 kg (141 lb)
- Brown eyes
- Short, brown hair
- Last seen wearing a dark hoodie, black pants and black shoes.
Heather was last seen near Freeman Street and Fifth Avenue. Police officers and family made extensive patrols in the area throughout the night but have not located Heather. She does not have a cell phone with her.
“Investigators are very concerned for Heather’s safety and well-being. Her family says she likes to downtown Prince George, and sometimes hangs around the Civic Centre. Police are requesting help from the public in keeping an eye out for Heather and asking them call the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300 if anyone sees her,
” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, media spokesperson for the Prince George RCMP.
