Police identify stabbing victim

Prince George RCMP has confirmed the identity of the victim from Saturday’s fatal stabbing as 28-year-old Devon Lindstrom.

“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the victim at this time,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

On June 11, 2022, shortly after 5 a.m., Prince George RCMP received a call for service at a commercial dwelling unit on Queensway. Police received information that a man had been stabbed.

Upon police and ambulance arrival at the location, a man was found suffering from life threatening injuries. He was transported by B.C. Ambulance Service to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing.
