A man is dead after being stabbed early Saturday morning.
Shortly after 5 a.m., Prince George RCMP received a call for service at a commercial dwelling unit on Queensway. Upon police and ambulance arrival at the location, a man in his 30s was found suffering from life threatening injuries. He was transported by B.C. Ambulance Service to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police will remain at the location while the Serious Crime Unit along with Forensic Identification Services conduct their investigation. Police believe this is a targeted event and there is no increased risk to the public.
Investigators are not releasing the name of the victim. This matter is still under investigation.
