Prince George RCMP and Prince George Fire Rescue Services are at a confirmed gas leak in the 1000-block of Victoria Street.
“To maintain public safety, police have the area blocked off and have evacuated the affected building,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper of the Prince George RCMP. “We are asking that everyone please avoid this area for the morning, to allow crews room to work.”
The cause of the leak is currently unknown. Updates will be provided as they come available.
