
A third period marker from Nick Rheaume was all the offence provided from the Prince George Spruce Kings, as the West Kelowna Warriors defeated the home side by a 5-1 score on Saturday night at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.

WK: On a West Kelowna power-play, Elan Bar-Lev-Wise got the puck in tight at the left side of the goal and he flipped it over the shoulder of Aaron Trotter and in to make it 1-0. Bar-Lev-Wise’s 21st of the season was assisted by both Christophe Farmer and Nick Ardanaz at 6:55
WK: On another Warrior power-play, Tyson Jugnauth spotted Felix Trudeau and the right circle, and he had all sorts of time and fired it top corner on Trotter to make it 2-0. Trudeau’s 27th of the season had the lone helper credited to Jugnuath at 13:29.
WK: A Dylan Brooks shot from the top of the right circle got by Aaron Trotter to up the Warrior lead. Brooks’ second of the season was assisted by Felix Trudeau at 16:32 of the second stanza.

3rd PERIOD:
WK: John Evans was able to get the puck at the left circle from Tyler Cristall, and Evans roofed it over Trotter to up the vistitors cushion to four, making it 4-0. Evans’ 17th of the season was assisted by Cristall at 14:15.
PG: Kilian McGregor-Bennett was able to spot Nick Rheaume in the attacking zone, and Rheaume made a terrific move around Derrick and made no mistake to ruin the shutout bid. Rheaume’s team leading 28th of the season was assisted by Kilian McGregor-Bennett and Ty Gagno at 16:59.
WK: After the Rheaume marker, the Spruce Kings supplied more pressure and tried to pull Aaron Trotter to bring out the extra attacker, however as Trotter made his way to the bench, the puck was turned over and Christophe Farmer fired it all the way from his own end and into the wide open cage as Trotter tried to make his way back but was unable to get there in time. Farmer’s 10th of the season was unassisted at 17:27.
