Spruce Kings blanked 5-0 in West Kelowna

Despite a gutsy road effort from the Prince George Spruce Kings, they were unable to muster any offence for 60 minutes, as they fell 5-0 to the West Kelowna Warriors at Royal LePage Place.

1st PERIOD:

WK: Just over eight and a half minutes into the game, Chase Dafoe received a pass at the left circle and went top shelf on Jordan Fairlie to make it 1-0. Dafoe’s 14th of the season was assisted by John Evans and Tyler Rubin at 8:36.

2nd PERIOD:

WK: In the late moments of the second stanza on a Warrior power-play, Elan Bar Lev Wise was able to tip in a Tyson Jugnauth shot by Jordan Fairlie to make it 2-0. Bar Lev Wise’s 19th of the season was assisted by Jugnauth and Christophe Farmer at 18:39.

3rd PERIOD:

WK: On a delayed penalty call, John Evans was able to rip home his 13th of the season from both Tyler Rubin and Marcus Joughin at 1:03.

WK: Tyler Rubin was able to get the puck towards the goal and it was redirected in tight by Tyler Cristall to add to the Warriors lead. Cristall’s 25th of the season was assisted by Rubin and Dylan Brooks at 12:26.

WK: After a scramble in front of the Spruce Kings goal, Christophe Farmer got the puck in front of the goal with a wide open cage to make it 5-0. Farmer’s eight of the season was assisted by John Evans and Nick Roukounakis at 18:56 on the power-play.
