SignTek acquires Trimline

SignTek Industries, a Prince George graphics and sign shop, has acquired Trimline Signs.

Trimline’s sister company, Mayfair Gas, Plumbing, and Electrical will continue to serve its customers out a new location at 8545 Willowcale Road.

“Trimline is a well-established and recognized company whose operational values fit well with our vision for the future,” said Travis Sewell, Signtek owner. “We want to thank the Nicholson family, who established Trimline in 1982, for their years of dedication and service to the business and community. We’re excited and honoured to be carrying their legacy forward as part of the SignTek story.”

Nolan Nicholson of Trimline says the acquisition came at the right time.

“We’ve had a wonderful time building the business and working with many amazing customers over the years,” Nicholson said. “However, I have an opportunity to move into the insurance business at Wilson M. Beck Insurance Services and we feel it’s the right opportunity for me and my family to pursue. We’re delighted to know that we will be leaving our customers and staff in great hands. It’s easy to see the SignTek team cares about the business and providing great results.”

Sewell says that over the coming weeks, SignTek will absorb the physical assets of Trimline into its current facility and increase its staffing complement from 12 to 18 people. Trimline customers and continue to expect the same levels of service and quality based out of the SignTek location at 619 Third Avenue.
