Cold warning continues across the North

In case you haven’t noticed, it’s still bone-chillingly cold out there.

Cold temperatures combined with light to moderate northerly winds will continue to give wind chill values near -40 degrees Celsius in the Prince George, Stuart – Nechako, Chilcotin, Lakes District and McGregor areas this morning. Conditions are expected to improve this afternoon as the winds ease and temperatures increase.

Extreme cold puts everyone at risk.

Watch for cold related symptoms: shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes.
