Extreme cold warning issued for central B.C.

Time to bundle up.

A very cold air mass will return to the Central B.C. Interior today, hitting the Prince George, Stuart-Nechako, and McGregor areas. Cold temperatures combined with light to moderate northerly winds will result in wind chill values near -40 degrees Celsius tonight. Conditions are expected to improve Wednesday afternoon as the winds ease.

Extreme cold puts everyone at risk.

Watch for cold related symptoms: shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes.
