The Prince George RCMP located and arrested two people on multiple outstanding warrants on last week.
On November 3, the Prince George RCMP located and arrested Angeline Louise Hammerstrom and Colin Michaud Durrand, both of whom had arrest warrants from several Prince George investigations, at a residence on the 2200-block of Pine Street.
While conducting their investigation, police obtained a search warrant for the residence. Investigators located several firearms, suspected cocaine and methamphetamine, and items commonly used for drug trafficking during their search.
Durrand and Hammerstrom will remain in custody on their arrest warrants until their next court appearance.
“The Prince George RCMP thanks the media and the public for their continued efforts, which assisted in locating these prolific offenders,” said Cpl Jennifer Cooper. “We encourage residents and business owners to continue reporting suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods to police, and to keep an eye out for one another.”
This file is still under investigation.
