‘Oversight’ that missing person release didn’t mention he’s also wanted in connection to double-murder

Anthony Graham

Prince George RCMP say it was an ‘oversight’ that a release it issued last week regarding a missing person neglected to mention that missing person was also wanted in Penticton in connection to a double-murder there.

In June, the Penticton RCMP put out a media release advising the public that they are investigating Anthony James Graham in relation to a double homicide. In their release, they stated that Graham is considered armed and dangerous.

On November 4, the Prince George RCMP released information regarding a missing person report made about Graham that police here are actively investigating.

“It was an oversight made by this office not duplicating the public warning about Mr. Graham,” according to a statement issued by the Prince George RCMP Friday. “We are putting processes in place to make sure such an omission does not happen again.”

If you have any information about Anthony James Graham or where he might be, please contact your local police or call 9-1-1, or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-8477 or online at www.northernbccrimestoppers.ca (English only). You do not have to reveal your identity to Crime Stoppers.
