A 54-year-old Prince George man is in custody and facing several charges following a road-rage incident Wednesday.
Police say shortly before 6 p.m. October 6, 2021, they received a complaint of a road rage incident on the 6700-block of the Hart Highway.
Officers learned that two drivers got into an argument that resulted in one driver allegedly pulling out a firearm and threatening the other driver with it. Police located the suspect driver and arrested him with the assistance of a police dog service team.
Investigators identified the man as Donald Chromick. The B.C. Prosecution Service approved the following charges against Chromick:
- Possession of a weapon
- Resist arrest
- Careless use of a firearm
- Careless storage of a firearm
Chromick will remain in custody until his next court appearance.
