A 19-year-old voter from Williams Lake has asked local candidates to release a joint statement encouraging people to get vaccinated. We thank him for his leadership.
As the candidates for the Conservative, Liberal, NDP and the Green parties in the riding of Cariboo-Prince George, we would like to encourage all eligible members of our communities to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
We are extremely fortunate to live in a time where safe and highly effective vaccines are available to prevent COVID-19. Vaccinations save lives.
Coming together as a community to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is how we can all do our part and contribute to the end of the pandemic while keeping our friends, family, neighbours and health care workers safe.
