The Sacred Heart Catholic Church was the subject of more late-night vandalism.
Shortly before 4 a.m. on August 25, the Prince George RCMP received a report of vandalism to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Patricia Boulevard.
Frontline members attended the location and saw the words Every Child M
spray-painted on the front doors. Investigators believe the vandalism occurred between 11 p.m. on August 24 and 1 a.m. on August 25.
“Police are looking for any witnesses to this crime or for anyone who might know the individual or individuals involved,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper. “If there is anyone in the area who has surveillance or noticed unusual activity around the church between those hours, please contact the Prince George RCMP by calling 250-561-3300 to speak with police.”
Police are continuing to do proactive patrols around places of worship in Prince George to curb the ongoing vandalism. Additionally, some churches have taken the extra step of hiring private security to conduct their own patrols.
