Three arrested following home invasion on River Road

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect from a home invasion on the 100 block of River Road.

Police were called out shortly before midnight on August 18. RCMP officers attended the area and stopped a vehicle nearby that matched the description suspect’s car. Police arrested three people from the vehicle and located some firearms and items stolen from the victim’s residence inside the car.

“There is currently one suspect outstanding and police are asking the public to come forward with any information they may have about their identity,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper of the Prince George RCMP.

This does not appear to be a random attack and police do not believe there is any current risk to the public. The three suspects arrested by police will remain in custody until they can attend court today.

Two of the victims of the home invasion suffered minor injuries and were treated by medical staff.

If you have any information about this or any other criminal offence, please contact the Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-8477 or online at www.northernbccrimestoppers.ca (English only).
