Two days before Sunday’s federal election call, Cariboo-Prince George Conservative Todd Doherty called out his own party for an online election ad.
In the Conservative Party of Canada ad, Liberal leader Justin Trudeau’s face is super-imposed over a girl from the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. In the ad, the character dances around factory singing that the character wants a majority.
“Let’s be very clear I am not a fan of @JustinTrudeau with a provincial state of emergency, growing wildfire concerns in my province & potential 4th wave concerns..this election is purely selfish. But @CPC_HQ I & others expect you to be better. This is embarrassing. #cdnpoli.”
