Business damaged by fire, investigators say cause ‘suspicious’

Just after 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 20, the Prince George RCMP and other emergency services received a report of a fire at a business in the 1600 block of 20th Avenue in Prince George.

Emergency crews attended the scene and found a portion of the building on fire.  Although it is early in the investigation, the cause of the fire appears to be suspicious in nature.  A fire investigator with the Prince George RCMP is on scene to assist with the investigation. 

The Prince George RCMP is looking for dash-cam footage or anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area between 6 a.m. and 6:35 a.m. this morning.
