Smokie to the Rescue barbecue helps the United Way

From June 10-12, between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., the staff and volunteers from United Way of Northern BC will be at KMS Tools Equipment at 101 Queensway in Prince George for a fundraising barbecue ‘Smokie to the Rescue’ to support local non-profit agencies that work to fight predominant #unginorable issues in our community.

The pandemic has adversely affected fundraising across the non-profit sector and UWNBC has been no different. While the generosity of the people and communities across northern B.C. has been incredible over the last year, the pandemic has marked a steep decline in fundraising proceeds.

‘Smokie to the Rescue will help with the United Way’s ongoing fight against the challenges the most vulnerable face in the Prince George community, whether a result of the pandemic or an

ongoing issue. The agency is ready meet the challenge and do what is needed to get support to agency partners and ultimately make way for positive change right here in Prince George

Please come to KMS Tools & Equipment and get your smokie and pop by donation to help the United Way raise funds to support local social service programming.
