Support your local artists and help save Omineca Arts Centre by tuning into their Friday Fundraising Facebook Live Show April 30 from 7-10 (by donation)!
Get ready for a night out…in! Almost like the good old days, because on Friday the 30, Omineca Arts Centre, Gypsy Entertainment Group and Atmosphere Entertainment are going live with their new late night talk show: Off the Rails Comedy Show!
Omineca and Off the Rails Comedy Show Fundraiser Event:
WHY THE CENTRE NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT
This fundraiser was born out of a desperate need for self-expression and a drive to survive the rolling lockdowns. Before Corona, Omineca Arts Centre was known for throwing wicked concerts, events, in a bit of a pickle. Idea. A fundraiser. And the rest is history.
The Off the Rails Comedy premier will follow a late-night talk show style featuring five comedians and 10 music acts, door prizes, 50/50, pranks and a tonne of laughs.
Viewing of the show is by donation (suggested $25.00). And don’t forget to purchase a door prize ticket, entrance into the 50/50 draw and an Omineca tank or tee (all $20 each)!
Just EMT with description to firstname.lastname@example.org. All proceeds will go towards keeping our doors open and surviving the pandemic so we may continue to support emerging artists in the community.
The lineup for this show is absolutely chalk-full of local music talent, including:
- Charcoal Heather
- Danny Bell and his Disappointments
- Kym Gouchie
- Nathan Kelly of the Crones
- Cold South
- Genevieve Jade
- Patchwork PG
- Glazier Music
- Fatal Words
- The Ebbs
A mix of local and lower mainland funny men:
- Dom Oliviera (Off the Rails Comedy Show)
- Dino Archie (Comedy Central + Jimmy Kimmel),
- Justin Nichol (House of Comedy & Big Mouth Comedy Show)
- Dale Erhstein (Nork Media)
- Jon White (PG Local)
The donated pieces are on display in a collective Art Auction Exhibition, at Omineca Art Centre (369 Victoria Street-Downtown PG) Until May 1st! Bidding on the Art Auction Items is now open on the April 30 event page until May 1 at midnight. Bid early, bid often and support your local community arts centre.
