Police have caught one of the suspects in a series of break and enters that occurred in downtown Prince George this past week.
Around 8:00 p.m. on February 11, a general duty officer of the Prince George RCMP was on patrol near the 800 block of Canada Games Way. He noticed a man in clothing similar to that worn by a suspect on surveillance footage from several recent break-and-enters.
The officer arrested the man and transported him back to the Prince George RCMP detachment.
Police found the personal property from a recent auto theft on the man, whom they identified as 40-year-old Allan Nigh.
The B.C. Prosecution Service has approved one count of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence against Nigh, and are considering further charges.
At the time of this writing, it is unknown whether Nigh will be released or held in-custody.
