Man found in snowbank Thursday died before help could arrive; Serious Crime Unit investigating

The Prince George RCMP say that the man found in medical distress at the 8200 block of Domano Boulevard yesterday morning had succumbed to injuries sustained prior to being located at approximately 8 a.m.

The Serious Crime Unit is spearheading the investigation and asks residents in the area who may have seen anything suspicious in the hours leading up to the man being located to please contact the Prince George RCMP by calling 250-561-3300.

The BC Coroners Service is conducting its own, parallel fact-finding investigation into the sudden death. The Prince George RCMP will not be releasing any further details about this incident at this time.
