Wind knocking out power across the North

This afternoon’s high winds seem to wreaking havoc on power lines.

At 2 p.m., BC Hydro was reporting 30 different outages in the Central Interior affecting 5,461 customers and 37 outages in the northern region affecting 2,573 customers.

The largest outage in the Prince George area is east of Northwood Pulpmill Road and north of Alpine Drive where 2,217 customers are without power.
