The Prince George Chamber of Commerce has announced the return of the #TrueNorth Business Development Forum in January 2021, presented by LNG Canada.
#TrueNorth has kicked of Resource Week in Prince George for numerous years, with a focus on providing tools that build a more resilient and prosperous northern B.C. Given the challenges experienced, this coming event may be the most important to date.

“Given the challenges experienced by business in 2020 and likely the early months of 2021, we wanted to focus on the leadership challenges and how we, collectively, move forward towards a strong economic recovery in BC,” said Todd Corrigall, CEO, Prince George Chamber of Commerce. “Northern B.C. is home to a diverse and evolving economy, one that has been developed and fostered by strong leaders – both at the individual and corporate levels.”
While the program continues to evolve, the chamber has announced the preliminary keynote presentation will be from David Irvine and Ally Stone. David is a #TrueNorth alum who will focus, on ‘Leading Through Disruption’, a new program built around the challenges of the pandemic, recovery, team engagement and personal growth.
In addition to the above, a panel discussion featuring exceptional female leaders from diverse backgrounds will be moderated by local Prince George entrepreneur and mentor Shauna Harper.
