The Prince George Spruce Kings have added defenceman Cole Moberg (’00) to the team’s roster on loan through December 20, from the Prince George Cougars of the Western Hockey League (WHL). The Spruce Kings also announce that defenceman Tanner Main has suffered a fractured fibula and is expected to miss the next 12 weeks.
Moberg, 20, is a seventy round draft pick of the Chicago Blackhawks (’19) and is heading into his fourth season with the Cougars. The North Vancouver product finished with 13 goals, and 24 assists in 58 games played with the Cougars last season, which had Moberg second in team scoring and led all Cougars defenders in goals.

“We are excited to add Cole Moberg to the lineup on loan from the Cougars until December 20,” said Mike Hawes, Spruce Kings general manager. “This helps us fill the vacancy created by Tanner’s absence and adds a veteran, proven player to our team. Cole is a dynamic player who will provide a lot of ability, experience and leadership to the group.”
