Get your shovels out. Environment Canada says we’re about to get some snow. A total of about 10 cm is expected.
A strong frontal system moving in from the Pacific will move over central British Columbia and bring widespread snow for today. Snow will begin early this morning and continue throughout the day.
Total snowfall accumulations of 10 cm can be expected in the Stuart-Nechako, Prince George and Cariboo-North regions before the system departs further into southeastern British Columbia this evening.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
