MNP opens new regional headquarters in Prince George

Jameel Sayani

MNP has moved into new regional headquarters in downtown Prince George. Located on the eighth floor of the HSBC Tower on Victoria Street, the accounting and consulting firm’s new offices are both space and energy efficient, and signal MNP’s commitment to northern B.C.

“We invested in our Prince George regional hub because we believe in the Northern B.C. market and see substantial growth and opportunity here. Our space is new, yes, but it is also very efficient and will allow us to increase our professional staff in Prince George by 40 per cent in the next ten years,” said Jameel Sayani, Regional Managing Partner.

The 13,743-square-foot design and build were completed by Majestic Management and guided by MNP’s hierarchy-busting workspace philosophy, which tries to provide equal access to daylight and resources for all employees. Office sizes are standardized at 120 square feet, and there are no corner offices; those coveted spaces are used for meeting rooms and lunchroom. Partners in the firm have offices in the core, while the windowed perimeter is reserved for team members. The office is a fully digital environment, without traditional file storage rooms.

For the health and safety of MNP staff, the air supply and filtration for the office meets MERV-16 standards, which is equivalent to operating room standards.

“MNP is committed to the region, as advisors and as an employer of choice,” said Sayani. “We live here, invest here, and want to help grow the businesses in the north.”

MNP is one of the largest national accounting and consulting firms in Canada. Since 1958, MNP has grown to over 80 offices across the country with more than 850 partners and 5,300 team members. In addition to tax and accounting services, MNP’s local professionals can provide extensive business advisory services, backed by the resources of national team of specialists.
