One person was arrested following an early afternoon armed robbery in Prince George.
At approximately 1:15 p.m. on Friday October 23, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a commercial robbery near the corner of Fifth Avenue and Carney Street in Prince George. Initial indications were that a male entered the business, produced a knife and demanded cash. He fled on foot before police could be called.
Multiple frontline officers including a police dog service team responded. Search of the area led officers to arrest an 18-year-old man near the corner of Third Avenue and Carney Street at approximately 2 p.m.
No injuries were reported. The investigation is continuing.
