At 3:27 into the second frame, Corey Cunningham forced a turnover in the offensive zone and was able to deposit the puck by Dias to make it a 3-0 Spruce Kings lead. Cunningham’s first of the pre-season came unassisted.

Sherbrooke, QC product Nick Rhéaume hammered the puck past Dias in tight to make it 4-0. The Spruce King newcomer’s first of the pre-season came from Hunor Torzsok and Max Borovinskiy at 15:55.
