Officers responded to reports of shots fired at about 12:30 a.m. Thursday. Several officers including a police dog service team attended the area. One residence was cleared by officers for public safety. Three adult occupants were located uninjured. Investigators obtained statements and located evidence confirming shots were fired. The suspect or suspects fled the area before police could be called.
This is the second shooting incident on Bellos Street in less than three weeks. Police responded to this street just before 11 p.m. on Monday September 21, after receiving reports of shots fired. Investigators found firearm related damage to a residence. No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
Both of these incidents are believed to be targeted attacks associated to two rival groups involved in the drug trade.
