Nathan Cullen seeks NDP nod in Stikine riding

It didn’t take long for someone to step forward looking to fill the shoes of Stikine MLA Doug Donaldson, who announced yesterday he won’t be seeking re-election.

And, it’s a very high profile candidate.

Former NDP MP for Skeena-Bulkley Valley Nathan Cullen has announced he is seeking the nomination in Stikine. Cullen represented Skeena-Bulkley Valley from 2004-2019. Earlier this year he was hired by the B.C. government to work as a liaison between the province and the Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs during the protests over the Coastal GasLink pipeline.
