Bus driver attacked; police seek public’s help locating suspect

Police are requesting the public’s help to identify a suspect believed to be responsible for an assault last month.

On Thursday July 16, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a man throwing a drink cup at a transit bus operator after an argument.  The incident occurred at approximately 3 p.m. near the corner of Ferry Avenue and Upland Street in Prince George.

The suspect departed the bus on foot.  He was described as:

  • Male
  • 20-30 years old
  • Short hair
  • Wearing black jacket, black pants and carrying a light coloured backpack
