The Salted Cracker will be joining the Prince George Airport family with a pop-up food service kiosk in the terminal in the coming weeks.
“It was incredibly important for us to support a local business who is doing great things in our community,” said Gordon Duke, President and CEO of the Prince George Airport Authority. “The Salted Cracker has delicious food and we felt they were a great fit for our airport with a lot of grab and go style options. The restaurant and kiosk in the boarding lounge remain closed due to COVID-19. A timeline to reopen has not been given, so we looked outside the box to fulfill our customer’s needs.”
“Operating in an airport environment is something that has always intrigued us. We look forward to sharing our menu with locals as well as visitors alike,” said Michael Pockett, The Salted Cracker owner. “Customers can expect to see their favourite soups served at YXS, including the fan favourite broccoli cheddar.”
The pop-up food kiosk will be located near the car rental area of the terminal. The menu will include hot soups, cold sandwiches, fruit, coffee and deserts. Check out their Facebook page for construction progress and opening date information.
