The Prince George RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating a man wanted on several arrest warrants issued this spring.
The BC Prosecution Service have approved the following Criminal Code charges and issued arrest warrants for 29-year-old Prince George man, Colin Michaud Durrand:
- Theft of a motor vehicle
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Possession of firearm or ammunition while prohibited
- Obstructing a peace officer
- Fail to comply with probation (three counts)
- Fail to comply with release order (six counts)
These charges stem from nine separate incidences that occurred since July 2019. Warrants were issued between March 3 and July 28, 2020.
Durrant is a priority offender for the Prince George RCMP and is believed to pose an increased risk to public safety. He has a history of violence, say police.
Colin Michaud Durrand is described as:
- Caucasian male
- 188 cm (6’2″)
- 76 kg (168 lbs)
- Black hair
- Brown eyes
Durrrand was last known to be residing on Clover Road in the Tabor Lake area, just east of Prince George.
