Regional district, Mackenzie, McBride, and Valemount developing connectivity strategy

The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George is working with Mackenzie, McBride and Valemount on a coordinated approach to develop a regional strategy to improve connectivity in small and rural communities within the regional district area.

The regional district board approved a contract for TANEx to conduct a gap analysis of current versus future services with recommendations on where the RDFFG should focus its attention. With the increased reliance on internet for service delivery, as well as entertainment usage, identifying the levels of service and gaps within the regional district will aid in determining where and how improvements can be made.
