Fire has ravaged the EconoLodge motel in downtown Prince George.
The fire started at about 8:30 a.m. and thick, dense smoke blanketed much of downtown reducing visibility to less than a block near the fire. The EconoLodge is located on Ninth Avenue and Victoria Street.
It appears everyone inside the motel escaped the blaze and RCMP are interviewing witnesses.
