Dawson Creek RCMP looking for witnesses to Monday hit and run involving two cyclists

Dawson Creek RCMP are looking for witnesses to a hit and run Monday that saw a motorist hit two cyclists Monday.

Police were called out at about 6:35 p.m. Monday to the intersection of 105th Avenue and Eighth Street in Dawson Creek.

Both riders sustained injury and were taken to hospital in stable condition. One of the cyclist was dragged by the vehicle for a short distance.

The suspect failed to remain at the scene however witness were able to help police identify the vehicle and the driver involved in the crash.

Although multiple witnesses have come forward, the police would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or have any information about it.
