Doherty does the 24-hour Relay for Life alone (mostly) in CN Centre parking

About 15 hours into his annual 24-hour walk for the Relay for Life, Cariboo-Prince George MP Todd Doherty was a little sore and little tired, but committed to finishing the full 24 hours, as he traditionally does. And, even though the Canadian Cancer Society fundraiser, usually held at Exhibition Park, is a socially distanced event this year with walkers encouraged to walk where they are, Doherty set up in the CN Centre Parking lot and is doing his 24 hours on the site that, normally, would be full of walkers this weekend. He says plenty of people have stopped by and walked with him so far. Bill Phillips photo
