The Prince George Spruce Kings have acquired forward Darwin Lakoduk (’00) from the Penticton Vees in exchange for future considerations.

“Darwin is a tremendous young man who brings a great work ethic to the rink every day,” says GM Mike Hawes.

Lakoduk, 20 , spent the 2019-20 campaign with both the Vees and the Victoria Grizzlies. The Edmonton, Alberta product finished with 11 goals and 12 assists in the 2019-20 season. Lakoduk has played 113 BCHL games heading into his 20-year-old season in 2020-21. The 5’10, 167 pound forward is committed to play NCAA Division 1 Hockey at American International College (AIC) in 2021-22.

“He is good in both ends of the ice and will be looked upon to provide leadership while playing in all situations for us this upcoming season,” added Hawes. “We are excited to add this veteran player to our lineup.”
