Shot fired near 17th Avenue and Juniper Street

Police are investigating a shot being fired in the city overnight.

Thursday night at 10:20 p.m., the Prince George RCMP received a report of shots fired in an alley near the intersection of 17th Avenue and Juniper Street. 

Initial indications were that a vehicle with two occupants pulled up into the alley, a shot was fired, and then the vehicle sped away down Queensway towards Ferry Avenue.

Officers attended the scene and made patrols for the suspect vehicle, described as a dark coloured four door Chevrolet pickup.  Investigators have not yet located the truck, suspects, or a victim.

Although the motives for this incident are not yet known, it is believed to be a targeted.  The investigation is continuing.
